Jimbo Fisher is the head football coach for Texas A&M University. After going 45-25 since being hired in 2018, the university is moving to fire him from his position. Firing Fisher will require the university to buy out his contract, which will run A&M a cool $76,000,000 to do so. What I want to know is how can I become the head of a major college football program? That way when I underpreform expectations and put a mediocre product on the field, I can get tens of millions as they kick me out the door.

InnocentGirl96 is up to her usual tier of posts again
Her foul language and white hot rage don't bother me, for the most part I find it amusing. I just want to know who pissed in her cornflakes to get hear this heated. There's a good chance this is a particularly obnoxious troll, but she's so committed to the bit that I'm thinking this is her being for real.

I'm a couple of days late, but I want to say RIP Bob Knight. Bob Knight was a legendary men's basketball coach who had stints at West Point, Indiana, and Texas Tech. Knight is mostly remembered for his time at Indiana in which he won 11 Big Ten titles, 3 national titles and his 1976 team is the last time a men's college basketball team went undfeated. He also emphasized discipline and team work with his squads. Knight was also known for his volatile temper. Bob's temper and prickly demenor got him plenty of detractors and cost him his job at IU when he was fired in 2000 for grabbing a student. That would lead to rift between Knight and IU that would only be mended in 2020 when Knight returned to Indiana for the first time since he was fired. I'm far too young to remember any of Knight's days at IU and I have no connections to Indiana, the university or the state. That said, hearing about Knight's successes and antics made me a fan. His abrasiveness and flaring temper made him a love-hate figure, and I'm firmly in the 'love' camp. He was such a character, and I think it speaks to the level he was on talent wise since that undefeated season is a feat no other coach has done in 47 years. Knight retired in 2008 with the then all time most amount of wins at 902. He mentored another legendary coach Mike Krzyzewski, who would retire in 2022 with the current most amount of wins at 1,202 and 5 national championships at Duke. The story of college basketball cannot be told without Bob Knight. With the heights he reached and his rough edges, there will never be another college basketball coach like Bob Knight. And the game is ultimately worse off because of his passing. RIP Bob Knight. I'll leave here my favorite clip of Knight. It's where I first went when I heard of his passing.

Just squeezing this in just before Halloween ends. I want to highlight the song Dead Man's Party. It's by Oingo Boingo, who were know to put on extravagent Halloween concerts. Danny Elfman was the frontman of the group, who has gone on to compose the music scores for numerous movies, such as any given film Tim Burton has directed. He was also the singing voice for Jack Skellington in The Nightmare Before Christmas. This is the title track to Oingo's Boingo's 1985 album of the same name. This song is fantastic, as is the rest of the album. Give it a listen and until next year, Happy Halloween.
