Decent week. I'll think I'll pare down on some of these goals for the time being until I can think of other and how to best maange my time. Got to find ways to put at least a little bit of time into stuff so it'll eventualy snowball in terms of progress and accomplishment.
- Career: Applied to be in a program at work and attended a meeting about information about another program. Also checked out grad school. I think I'll have to bite the bullet and eventual go to grad school.
- Writing: Wrote a little bit more on a novela, but I'm stuck. I should circle back, write a synopsis and general plot outline. Keeping the stuff in me head and not on paper doesn't work out. I also think I should exercise in some way before writing because trying to write while just sitting in a chair like a bump on a log is not inspiring. I also need to listen to records and not to Youtube, because YouTube distracts me way way too much. Going to be raiding a notebook I have with stuff written in it to start up more writing projects. Getting it off the notebook and/or out of my head and onto the computer will make my brainspace so much neater.
- Reading: About two thrids of the way through No Country For Old Men by Cormac McCarthy. Excellent so far. I love the scenario the protagonist falls into and how the antagonist hunts him down, more so out of principal than desire for money or murder. Plus llewelyn Moss might have the most Welsh name in all of American fiction.
- Art: Nothing on the animation front, but made an MS Paint doodle of a pirate flag. People seemed to really like that one as it's easily the most reviews a piece of mine has even gotten. Maybe there's a pirate trend going on I'm not privy to?
Also tried to setup FightCade. I think I did get it but I think I'll need to do more testing on it. I'm woefully inept when it comes to computers and dowloading stuff like that, despite the videos I've looked at. My ineptitude causes intimidation, but I think I might have it down pat. I just wanted to go online to play Third Strike and Marvel 2. I'll get shalcked, but losing can be fun, too. See you all next week.
